Yvonne Cassidy
Hi, I'm Yvonne,
I’m passionate about helping people achieve their potential. I have 25+ years of classroom teaching and leadership experience from primary to Further Education including working as a School Improvement Consultant, Advisory Teacher, Teacher Trainer, Examiner and Lecturer.
I started teaching Serbo-Croatian workshops whilst still at university and I enjoyed it so much that I trained to become a teacher. I have been an examiner and setter for a variety of exams including level 7, 6 and 3 bilingual skills, interpreting and translation exams- Croatian into English. I have lived and worked in Croatia as an English teacher and translator (including medical translations and a book translation) and still spend a significant amount of time in this beautiful country.
My specialisms are:
· Educational/ EAL Consulting and Training for
schools including developing/ leading projects to improve language, communication and literacy from 0-5, New Arrivals and more advanced English language learners 0-Adult and initial teacher training/ the Diploma in Education and Training
